Shipping & Delivery Policy

 

This policy outlines how TerraSoil processes, ships, and delivers orders.

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day

  • During peak periods or product launches, processing times may be extended

Orders requiring manual confirmation or special handling may take longer.

2. Delivery Locations

We currently ship to:

  • Malta & Gozo

  • European Union countries

For other destinations, please contact us before placing an order.

3. Delivery Methods

We use a combination of:

  • Local delivery services (Malta)

  • Postal services

  • Courier partners

The shipping method may vary depending on:

  • Product type

  • Destination

  • Weight and size

4. Estimated Delivery Times

🇲🇹 Malta & Gozo

  • Standard delivery: Same day or 1–2 business days (where applicable)

🇪🇺 European Union

  • Standard delivery: 5–10 business days

  • Remote areas may take longer

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Order weight and size

  • Delivery destination

  • Selected shipping method

Free shipping may be offered on selected orders or promotions.

6. Tracking

  • Some orders include tracking

  • In certain cases (e.g. low-cost or standard postal shipments), tracking may not be available

Customers will be informed where tracking is provided.

7. Delays & External Factors

TerraSoil is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier or postal service disruptions

  • Customs processing

  • Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

  • Weather or force majeure events

8. Customs & Import Duties

For orders shipped outside Malta:

  • The customer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees

  • TerraSoil is not responsible for delays or costs related to customs clearance

9. Failed Deliveries

If a delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Customer unavailability

  • Failure to collect from a pickup point

The customer may be required to pay additional shipping fees for re-delivery.

10. Delivery of Biological & Living Products

Certain products (including but not limited to soil biology, nematodes, and other living inputs):

  • Are sensitive to temperature and handling

  • May be affected by shipping conditions

While we take care in packaging, we cannot guarantee viability if:

  • Delays occur

  • Products are not promptly received or stored correctly upon delivery

Customers are responsible for proper handling after receipt.

11. Risk & Ownership

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon:

  • Delivery to the provided address

  • Or handover to the shipping provider
